How to use this site

There are several ways to use this site to explore resources and tools. Whether you are just beginning your fire adaptation journey or are a seasoned professional, there is something for you here! You may immediately see yourself in the “Who is involved in community wildfire adaptation” graphic and want to get started with resources tailored to your role. Perhaps you are working on a specific component of the FAC framework such as Resident Mitigation and want to see related resources and tools.

To get started, decide how you want to sort through resources. Begin with either:

From either graphic, you are able to click on individual sections or icons and explore a wide array of tools and resources. There is no need to worry about missing out! The same core body of resources are available to you no matter which way you start; they are simply sorted differently to make it easier for you to use. You are able to filter resources by a selection of attributes as well, such as geography, research, availability in Spanish, and more.

This site is also the home of the Community Wildfire Protection Plan Database. If you are looking to review that database, click here.
